2. Have confidence- Patience is a virtue. To resolve conflicts with your clients, use confident and positive body language to show your confidence in your ideas. When you go for a meeting with the client, keep your head up and maintain eye contact while talking with the client.
3. Debating is not a solution- If you have a conflict of ideas with the client, don’t start a debate with the client. Instead of arguing, you should accommodate his ideas and requirements. Ask him what he wants and try hard to achieve the design he is dreaming of. Fruitless debate kills time and creates a negative image on the client’s mind.
4. Show stats to win a debate- If you really want to win a debate then show the client enough stats and facts in support of your opinion. When you show the stats, the client gets your point very easily and accepts your opinion/suggestion. Facts and figures are hard evidences that help you to win a debate.
5. Listen, listen and listen- Don’t talk too much when the client is sharing his ideas with you. Every client likes an attentive designer. Show him respect and even if you don’t like his ideas, listen carefully. After all, it’s his logo design project and he hired you. If the client gets angry over an issue, let him vent out the anger.
