Don’t Give Vent to Misconceptions About Your Logo Design Service

Misconceptions are everywhere, in every field. In this post, I will discuss some very common misconceptions that can do more harm than good if not cleared right away. So let’s start.

Misconception # 1: I do not like the design samples. The company is not at all worth doing business with.

This is probably the commonest one. Just because some samples do not entice you, doesn’t mean the company that is providing logo design service is downright bad. Often, business owners have no idea what they are looking for. The same may have happened in your case.

Sometimes, when you conceive a design idea, it may seem wonderful but it may not look so good when it is actually created. It is not unnatural to feel bad when you get samples that you just do not like, but at the same time it is also important for you to understand that what you have received is qualitative and thus bound to have some surprises.

Misconception # 2: The samples received are too simple. I could have designed something better myself.

Just because a logo is simple, it does not mean that the designer has not paid enough attention to it. Isn’t simplicity the key to a better user experience? All I mean to say is, do not get carried away by the level of simplicity in the outcome, pay attention also to how stylish and attractive it looks. If it creates a lasting impression, you do not need anything more.

Misconception # 3: The logo looks like it has used some Clipart. It is of poor quality.

Clip art is basically a collection of pre-created images that can be used for illustrating in any medium. So, essentially, the design you have received is also clip art because if your company’s name is removed, it is just some image that can be illustrated in any medium.

I would suggest you to think deeper. Decide what you exactly want and then order some samples.

Finally, do not be upset when you are receiving a not-so appealing emblem examples from your logo services company. See it as one more step toward a fantastic design. It is not possible that you will dislike every sample you get your hands on. You can like parts of different samples such as typography, color combination etc. and order your designer to make a logo fusing all those things together.

All the best for your project!
